What will it cost me to set up my property with Atlas Towing and Storage?

The only costs to set up with our company are the signs and initial installation. Each sign will be $20 and an installation charge of $30 and unlimited updates Includes access to our website with management entry with a password.

Who initiates the tows?

Under Occupation Code Chapter 2308 Subchapter F Section2308.252 code a parking facility owner/management may, without the consent of the owner or operator of an unauthorized vehicle, cause the vehicle and any property on or in the vehicle to be removed and stored at a vehicle storage facility at the vehicle owner’s or operator’s expense.

Who is liable for the tow?

A parking facility owner who causes the removal of an unauthorized vehicle is not liable for damages arising from the removal or storage of the vehicle if the vehicle: (1) was removed in compliance with this chapter; and (2) is: (A) removed by a towing company insured against liability for property damage incurred in towing a vehicle; and (B) stored by a vehicle storage facility insured against liability for property damage incurred in storing a vehicle.

How do I know you will only tow illegally parked vehicles?

All towing enforcement agents for Atlas Towing carry digital cameras to document any towing violations. (Photographs available on our website with password access.)

How can I reach you in an emergency?

How do I get my car back?

If your vehicle is in our possession please call the main number at 210-223-8066 For further instructions.

What type of equipment do you use?

Atlas Towing uses only integrated, self loading tow trucks that lift vehicles from the tires to insure no damage is cause to the vehicle.

What if my signs are stolen or vandalized?

With Atlas Towing the initial fee of the signs includes insurance so that if your signs are ever stolen or vandalized they would be repaired or replaced at no cost to you as long as your company still holds the towing agreement with Atlas Towing.

What gives you the authority to tow my vehicle?

Under Occupation Code 2308 Subchapter F Section 2308.252 code a parking facility owner/management may, without the consent of the owner or operator of an unauthorized vehicle, cause the vehicle and any property on or in the vehicle to be removed and stored at a vehicle storage facility at the vehicle owner’s or operator’s expense. Under Occupation Code 2308 Subchapter F Section 2308.255, a towing company that is insured by subchapter F, and have a license to do non consent tows may without the consent of the owner or operator of an unauthorized vehicle remove and store the vehicle at the vehicle storage facility at the expense of the owner or operator of the vehicle.

What happens to a vehicle if the owner doesn't reclaim it?

Under state statue, if the owner of a vehicle does not redeem or reclaim the vehicle within 78 days, the vehicle storage facility will hold a public auction to pay for any charges incurred due to the impound.

What if I want to dispute the tow?

Under Occupation Code 2308 Subchapter J Section 2308.456, the owner of operator of a vehicle that has been removed and placed in a storage facility without consent of owner or operator of the vehicle is entitled to a hearing on whether probable cause existed for the removal and replacement. A hearing under this chapter is before the justice of the peace of the precinct in which the towing company or the storage facility is located.

What if my vehicle was towed by accident?

Atlas Towing and there affiliates take extreme measures to insure that an erroneous tow will not accrue ; however if your vehicle is accidentally towed by error of the towing company your vehicle will be returned to the registered owner.

Yes. Here at Atlas Towing we take every measure to insure that both your car and its belongings are safe and secure with security fences and video cameras.

What if your tow causes damage to my vehicle?

If in the event your vehicle is damaged during any of the impoundment process due to our negligence, Atlas Towing will accept full responsibility for the damage (s) and will do every thing in its power to get your vehicle repaired.
